so just a quick update because it feels like I should say something. There was a Peace Corps Volunteer who was shot and killed on Friday night here in Maseru. Maseru isn’t big enough for anything to be “far away”. The hotel near where he was shot is just about a 20 minute walk from [...]

highlights from the weekend: soweto bike tour was really informative about the built environment of soweto and how that affected the political environment as well as the people.
